Attorney Dana Jonson has represented the civil rights of children with disabilities under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (504) in the state of Connecticut for 15 years. Ms. Jonson has represented families in cases of improper evaluations/identification, inclusion, out of district programming, discipline, bullying, and Department of Children and Families (DCF) issues, just to name a few. Further, Ms. Jonson has represented children with a range of disabilities including autism, learning disabilities, neurological learning disorders (e.g. ADHD, dyslexia, non-verbal learning disorder, etc.), and physical impairments. Ms. Jonson helps parents understand and navigate the process so they are prepared to move forward advocating for their child when her representation concludes.
